I keep seeing stupid changes like these being made on Twitch that make no sense at all without any careful consideration of what it ends up doing to streamers as a result. This is something that needs to be reverted to how it was before. it just makes their raids seem less significant.
X-split Instructions: Open Xsplit and click add. Streamlabs Desktop Instructions: No need to copy your URL from our site- simply click the + button to add a source and select the Alert Box Widget from the list. Then near the top of the page copy your 'Alert Box link'. I want to recognise the people who raid into me even if their viewership isn't that big, I don't want to see someone just show up as a host to my streams when they set a raid. To get started click 'Alert Box' on the left sidebar. This essentially cripples streamers ability to be noticed when they raid someone after finishing a stream, it was already bad enough when you crippled it so that people can't raid/host channels from 1 viewer, which is fine I guess, but to change the requirement to 5 viewers is bad overall. Upon activation, Safe Mode will disable follower alerts, clear all recent events, and clear any queued follower, host, or raid alerts. Safe Mode is available within the Streamlabs client and can be activated while a streamer is live. I have to say this in REALLY bad, because this hurts smaller streamers who might not have that many viewers watching their channel, only to see their own raids turn into hosts instead. This new mode is now available for all Streamlabs users and works with Cloudbot, Streamlabs’ Twitch chat bot.
I just noticed the recent changes to people setting raids after a stream how the requirement is now pushed to minimum of 5 viewers and over.
